Safety

Understand broadly. Match carefully.

Use Someone can understand unusual requests without pretending every request is available, safe or eligible for matching.

Before a match

Use approximate area first. Check scope, timing, number of people, access, delivery method, risk and any credential requirements before commitment.

Inside Job Space

Keep job communication together. Messages can support photos, files, reporting, blocking, safety issues, schedule changes and recorded scope changes.

Address privacy

A Buyer exact address should be revealed only when a committed physical job requires it. A Someone's home address is not shown to Buyers.

When something feels wrong

Either side can raise a safety issue. A Someone can refuse or leave work that is unsafe, materially different, prohibited, misrepresented or outside required credentials.

Children and vulnerable people

Requests involving children, disability support or other vulnerable-person contexts require extra information. Screening, credentials or additional safeguards may apply depending on the exact role and jurisdiction.

ID
Identity status
If an identity check is completed, that status applies to identity only.
I
Capability declaration
The person says they can help. A declaration is not proof.
Supporting evidence

R
Exact-job eligibility
A job can proceed only when the applicable rules and required checks support it.

Scams and account secrets

Keep secrets secret.

Never send passwords, verification codes, recovery phrases or private keys in Job Space. Treat unexpected gift-card, cryptocurrency or external-link requests with caution. Use Someone can surface safety warnings and route suspicious patterns for review without treating a pattern as automatic proof of wrongdoing.

Optional check-in

A lightweight safety option for physical jobs.

A committed participant can start an optional safety check-in and choose limited information for a trusted contact. This is not continuous GPS tracking and it does not replace emergency services.

Children and other recipients

The person receiving the service matters.

A request for a child or another person can trigger different checks from the same capability requested for the Buyer. Use Someone should not treat a capability declaration as permission to work in every recipient context.

Files and photos

Share only what the job needs.

Job files stay private to authorised participants. Avoid uploading unnecessary identity documents or sensitive information. Supported images are prepared to remove embedded image metadata before upload where the product can do so.
